I’m Rachel Esterline, a fiction writer based in Michigan. I spend my early mornings and weekends refining stories that feature strong female main characters involved with sometimes morally gray outlaw men.
Throughout my career, I’ve always been a storyteller — but always the stories of others as a news writer, magazine editor, social media manager, and PR professional. My background is in public relations and marketing, as well as journalistic writing and editing. I’ve written speeches for CEOs, planned press conferences for legislators, launched startup brands, and created content for universities and nonprofits.
By day, I serve as the VP of Marketing for a company that serves K-12 school districts and higher education institutions.
