My first story, The Never Ending Rodeo, was published in my grade school anthology and I haven’t stopped writing since. In 2024, I was inspired to start writing fiction again — finishing the draft of my first novel on New Year’s Eve to hit my goal of finishing before the year’s end.
As a PR and marketing professional, I’ve published hundreds of stories for CEOs, researchers, legislators, and others in news stories, magazines, press releases, and social media posts. I’ve always enjoyed writing fiction on the side, but it took a backseat to my career for nearly two decades.
By day, I lead a content strategy team at a national nonprofit — overseeing social media, web content, our print magazine and blog, and digital advertising.
I have two degrees from Central Michigan University — a bachelor’s in Integrative Public Relations and a master’s in higher education administration — and my Accreditation in Public Relations from the Public Relations Society of America.
